Stripe: Interviewing with the biggest Unicorn!

Stripe Inc. is one of the biggest startups in the world. It lost some value due to the financial downturn but fundamentally the company remains strong. During the recent tech layoffs, Stripe had to shed around 13% of its workforce but its widely agreed that Stripe handled those layoffs well. I interviewed with Stripe in June this year and wanted to share my experience of the same in this article.

Applying for the role

Applying for Stripe was hard! I applied using their website for 8–10 open roles. However, I did not receive any response besides the auto reply. I then approached one of my ex-collogues for a referral. He shared my CV with his team’s recruiter and finally I got a response from the HR.
